Security Credit Union’s youth savings account and checking account programs make learning about ﬁnances easy and fun for children and teens. Help the youth in your life build positive banking habits early and set them up for a future of ﬁnancial success!
Building Blocks Savings Account Program
Our Building Blocks Savings Account Program encourages children ages 10 and younger to set aside money earned or money gifted and teaches them the beneﬁts of ﬁnancial savings. Children enrolled in the Building Blocks Club will receive newsletters with fun games, activities, and helpful savings tips!
How do you get started? It’s easy!
With a parent or legal guardian as a joint owner, your child or grandchild will be enrolled in the Building Blocks Savings Account Program and start reaping the beneﬁts of our credit union membership.
Secure Start Checking & Savings Account Program
The Secure Start Checking Account & Savings Account Program puts teens ages 11 to 17 on a path to financial stability and success. Teens enrolled in Security Credit Union’s Secure Start Program receive newsletters with financial tips fashioned just for them!
Secure Start Savings Accounts require a deposit of only $20 and a parent or legal guardian to get started! Secure Start Teens also have the opportunity to open their first Checking Account with a MasterCard® Debit Card and an ATM card.
