Scheduled System Maintenance: On Saturday, February 28, 2015 Security Credit Union will be performing system maintenance for approximately 5 hours (11:30pm to 4:30am EST). During this time, ATMs, Debit and Credit Cards will continue to function with the following transaction limits in place: $300 for Credit Cards, $300 for Debit Cards, and $200 limit on cash withdrawals. Member Alert Regarding Data Breaches As you may have heard, Home Depot, Health Insurer Anthem, UPS, P.F. Chang’s, Jimmy John's, and Goodwill, have confirmed a data breach of credit card and consumer information.
Here's what you need to know:
Cardholders do not need to automatically cancel their accounts if they used their SCU credit or debit card at any of these businesses.
We advise members to closely monitor their SCU credit and debit accounts for false transactions and report them to SCU immediately.
Cardholders are not liable for fraudulent transactions.
Member data stored on SCU's secure system has not been affected by any of these data breaches.
Be cautious of suspicious phone calls, emails, and text messages requesting your personal identification information. Security Credit Union will never contact you requesting this information.
